Dealing with the Unexpected
On Friday, I will come back from a week long and much needed break. Although I miss my soap and my business doings, it has been great to think and finally relax. What was a surprise is that my phone is not getting a signal where we are. Imagine that! Even more disturbing is that the computer is also getting an intermittent signal. My reaction to this outwardly to my family was “it’s ok – no big deal” but inwardly I was not liking the feeling of being cutoff. But, I told myself, it’s only for a week! C’mon, give yourself a break. It will still be there and no worse for the wear.
So, I am forced to not return any phone calls until Friday, but at least I can catch a signal sometimes on the laptop. Pitiful, I am.

Making More Soap
We are out of a bit of soap and will not be making more for the next 2 weeks. But, on the list to make are all the ones we are out of, plus a few more new ones (Rooibos Tea, Kudzu, and Patchouli).
We will also be keeping Berries and Cream, as well as Ocean since they have had such a positive response.
Also, I had a bit of fun today – it only took 30 minutes to make some solid shampoo bars. I used a new method of my own and I’m waiting to see if they turn out, much less work! If they do work, I will use cocoa butter next time – I forgot to use it this time. They contain detergents to increase their rinsing ability
. Don’t shoot the messenger!

Naming Soap
It can be as mundane as eating a sugar cookie or as exciting as finding that there is oil in your backyard.

Out of Stock
It isn’t fun to see soap out of stock, but we are going to be making lots more soap in the next few weeks. It has been exceptionally busy during April.

He is Risen
Matthew 28:8-9
So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.
